The mountain rifle is a double-barrel combination long rifle with two different calibres. This way, you can carry one calibre for big game and a smaller calibre. The mountain rifles guarantee great versatility. Ideally, you can hunt all game on the hunting grounds, from large hoofed game to small predators.

Scheiring mountain rifles combine fine aesthetics and tradition with state-of-the-art weaponry. The ingenious break-action system is installed, a highly modern, technologically unmatched design with a high degree of safety. It keeps the weapon short, making it light and easy to handle. The lock guard is positioned below the trigger. This allows a weapon with a low-lying telescopic sight to be operated easily even while wearing gloves. You swap the barrels of the Scheiring mountain rifle by means of a slider that is arranged on the side of the espagnolette.

To maintain the beautiful shape of the weapons, the telescopic sights are exclusively equipped with the Scheiring pivot mount. This lowest mounting facilitates quick attachment, achieving optimal handling. The mountain rifle can be equipped optionally with a silencer assembly.
