For six decades, the name Scheiring has shaped the image of the traditional gunsmith town of Ferlach in Carinthia.
In the early 1960s, Helmut Scheiring came from Tyrol to the southernmost town in Austria in order to revolutionise the high art of gun-making.
He quickly found success with his early block-action designs, and the Scheiring name rapidly became well-known among hunters and weapons experts around the world.
Following his training and many travels around the world to collect experience, Herbert Scheiring took over his father’s company.
His recipe: unconditional innovation and top quality. Exceptional craftsmanship and technical perfection.
The barrel blanks, cold-forged from the highest-quality steel, are carefully selected and annealed stress-free after processing.
All the components are perfectly harmonised. This guarantees that owners of a Scheiring gun obtain the shooting performance of a match rifle.
With surprisingly slim actions that still deliver full performance and safety, Herbert Scheiring fulfilled his life-long ideal of the perfect hunting rifle.
